NBC's comedy "Up All Night", starring Christina Applegate, Will Arnett, and Maya Rudolph, is set in the Los Angeles area. Consequently, many of the filming locations are actual Los Angeles eateries and hotspots.
In episode 119, "Couples Friends", Reagan and Chris (Will Arnett) befriend a cool gay couple and go out with them for a night of bowling. Their bowling alley of choice? Pinz in Studio City, CA. Pinz is an actual bowling alley, and unlike most shows, "Up All Night" didn't bother trying to mask the actual location's name or dress it up like a fictional place. You can clearly see the Pinz logo in the background of several scenes.
Pinz is a great place to hang out for the evening, as well as a great place to spot celebrities! Last time I was there I bowled next to Willow Smith, and the time before that I chatted with Chad Michael Murray. So you can do double-duty at Pinz: location-hunting and star-spotting!
