STORY & PHOTOS
In episode 116, "Altar Egos", Michael (Jason Bateman) goes to a bar to try to read a plea deal his father has been offered, but he can't concentrate. Gob (Will Arnett) convinces him to blow off some steam and have a one-night stand. Michael then meets Maggie Lizer (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), proceeds to introduce himself as a maritime lawyer named Chareth Cutestory, gets them both drunk and takes her home.
The Culver Hotel in Culver City, CA, stood in for the exterior of the lawyer-friendly bar Deliberations.
Inside the hotel is Munchkin's, the restaurant where Kitty (Judy Greer) claimed Michael was threatening her (and then, of course, flashed him) in episode 118, "Missing Kitty":
It looks like they set the restaurant area up against the left wall, in front of the windows that face the Pacific Theatres.
(The Culver Hotel actually has a rich history; it's where many of the Wizard of Oz bit players - including the Munchkins, hence the hotel restaurant's name - stayed while filming the movie at the nearby studio.)
