I am a book nerd and a TV nerd, so when there's a book signing for a book that's the prequel to a book that was made into one of my favorite TV shows... I'm there. And if you didn't follow that previous sentence: Candace Bushnell, author of Sex and the City, which was adapted into HBO's hugely successful show "Sex and the City", has published a prequel that follows Carrie Bradshaw in her teen years. Are you with me? Anyway, I attended Candace Bushnell's book signing, where she read us an excerpt from The Carrie Diaries and then signed our copies!
