STORY & PHOTOS
TNT's "Rizzoli and Isles" is set on the New England streets of Boston, MA, but it's filmed thousands of miles west at Paramount Studios in Hollywood, CA.
On the backlot at Paramount you'll find the apartment where Jane Rizzoli (Angie Harmon) lives. Her apartment was ransacked in the pilot episode by serial murderer Hoyt and his apprentice and we regularly see the exterior in establishing shots.
In episode 202, Jane's mother Angela (Lorraine Bracco) holds a yard sale outside the apartment, where Det. Frost (Lee Thompson Young) buys his prized action figure.
The exterior of Rizzoli's apartment is in the "Washington Park" section of the Paramount backlot, which has been used a few times on "Seinfeld" and in the episode of "Friends" where Chandler and Joey leave Ross's son Ben on the bus.

Jane's apartment burned down at the end of the recent season, so I guess we'll have to wait and see where she lives next!
