MTV's teen reality soap "Laguna Beach" was filmed at actual locations in Orange County, CA, which means it's easy to track down a ton of the spots where the LB gang hung out on the show. Ruby's Auto Diner is a cute retro-themed eatery on the PCH in Laguna Beach. It serves typical Americana fare (as well as delicious milkshakes) and offers up that 50s-style jukebox-and-antique-car décor.
We've seen Ruby's twice on "Laguna Beach". In episode 103, "Fast Cars and Fast Women", Kristin and Jessica eat there.
In episode 212, "Our Last Prom", Jason, Talan, and Cedric hit up the roof deck for lunch the day after prom.
Ruby's is worth a visit if you're in the area - the food's good and there are a couple of cute photo ops. Enjoy!
