STORY & PHOTOS

1997's "L.A. Confidential" is one of my favorite movies, based on one of my favorite books (by James Ellroy), and I think it's one of the best book-to-film adaptations I've seen. I'm in love with the whole "L.A. Confidential" thing.

Not only do I love the film, but the house where Lynn Bracken (Kim Basinger) lives in the film is basically my fantasty home -- a 50s-glam Hollywood bungalow. I'm obsessed with it and hope to decorate my home or at least a room in my home in a similar style, in an homage to the film and the overall style it represents.

I found the address of Lynn's home on IAmNotAStalker and wanted to see it myself (and move in, for real).

It's nestled over near Paramount Studios and Larchmont Boulevard, two of my favorite places in Hollywood, and it looks as dreamy to me in person as it did in the film.

May I have the keys, please?
