A “Mighty Ducks” Meet and Greet

WHAT Autograph signing and VIP interview panel WHERE Holiday Inn, Mansfield, MA WHEN April 15, 2018 Anyone who knows me even moderately well knows that I’m obsessed with the “Mighty Ducks” movies. (It’s even in my Twitter bio, y’all.) So it’s safe to say that this year’s birthday gift from my boyfriend Aaron was pretty perfect – a VIP pass to an autograph signing and meet-and-greet with some of the cast from the franchise! Scheduled to appear were Matt Doherty (Averman – my favorite!), Vincent LaRusso (Adam Banks), Garette Ratliff Henson (Guy Germaine), Brandon Adams (Jesse Hall), Aaron Schwartz (Karp), and Scott Whyte (Gunnar Stahl / Scooter). Event: “Veep” PaleyFest Panel

WHERE Dolby Theatre, Hollywood & Highland WHEN March 27, 2014 STORY & PHOTOS If you haven’t yet watched HBO’s “Veep”, you’re really missing out. Julia Louis-Dreyfus stars as Selina Meyer, the Vice President of the United States, and is surrounded by an outstanding supporting cast. “Veep” takes a hilarious look at Washington and the White House with a warts-and-all approach. It’s like “Arrested Development” meets “The West Wing”.

    Meeting Pentatonix of “The Sing-Off”

WHAT UNH’s Acapella Night WHERE University of New Hampshire, Dover, NH WHEN September 15, 2012 STORY & PHOTOS On Saturday night Pentatonix performed at UNH, and my friend Alex and I drove down to be there. It was a cappella night at UNH, and several of the college’s a cappella groups (including the Gents, which my good friend Adam used to be in!) performed, leading up to the headliners: Pentatonix, the winners of NBC’s a cappella competition “The Sing-Off”.

“Web Soup” tapings and meeting Chris Hardwick

WHAT Taping of the show “Web Soup”, hosted by Chris Hardwick WHERE Los Angeles, CA WHEN April 27, 2010 / May 25, 2010 STORY & PHOTOS I was on Twitter one day and someone that I followed retweeted a notice about a taping of “Web Soup” that was open to audience members. I contacted the appropriate people and – voila – I had a reservation to attend. The taping was in a building on Wilshire that houses offices and studios for the E! Network. In fact, “Web Soup” tapes in the same space as “The Soup” (hosted by one of my faves, Joel McHale).
