Turtle Bay Resort from “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” and “Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates”

LOCATION The beautiful Turtle Bay Resort on Oahu’s North Shore, as seen in “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” and “Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates”. ADDRESS Turtle Bay Resort 57-091 Kamehameha Hwy Kahuku, HI 96731 turtlebayresort.com STORY & PHOTOS I’ve always wanted to go to Hawaii; even though it’s part of the United States it seems so lush, exotic, and different, like a paradise completely unlike Maine, where I grew up and have lived most of my life. I could watch movies like “Blue Crush” and “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” on repeat because the gorgeous Hawaiian settings somehow soothed me. April and Andy’s ramshackle new house from “Parks and Recreation”

LOCATION The ramshackle, weird, falling-down house that Andy and April bought during the final season of “Parks and Recreation”. ADDRESS 837 Beacon Avenue Los Angeles, CA Note: this is private property (and very fenced-in). It’s okay to snap photos from the street, but be sure not to trespass! STORY & PHOTOS Our favorite lovable weirdos, Andy Dwyer (Chris Pratt) and April Ludgate (Aubrey Plaza), had a sort of existential crisis in the final season of “Parks and Recreation” when they realized their lives were pretty normal. They, of course, had to run out and fix that… so they bought a creepy-ass, rundown, ramshackle house.

However, you CAN track down the exterior used for Paddy’s Pub. It’s not in Philadelphia, but in Los Angeles.
