"D2: The Mighty Ducks" is my favorite movie of all time, and I adore the entire "Mighty Ducks" trilogy. When I was driving across the country from California to Maine, I made sure to stop in Minnesota to check out some of the "Ducks" filming locations.
One of the greatest sequences from "D2: The Mighty Ducks" involves a montage of the crew skating around town gathering up all of the Ducks so they can get the team back together. At one point, Charlie (Joshua Jackson) and Jesse (Brandon Adams) go get Averman (Matt Doherty) from a movie theater in a mall. Side note: I'm still totally in love with Averman.
That would be the movie theater in the Mall of America. No lie, when I saw it in person I yelled "Averman, let's go!" I got some weird looks but I don't care because I'm 100% obsessed with all things "Mighty Ducks".
Other than my "Mighty Ducks" excitement, the Mall of America was just... a really big mall. So if you wanna shop til you drop, hit it up!
