Is working at OPA a dream job or a nightmare? I guess it depends on who you ask. But if you’ve dreamed of being a Gladiator, you’ll surely recognize the exterior of Olivia Pope and Associates:
It makes an appearance on almost every episode of “Scandal” to establish the office. In real life, it’s an old theater in downtown Los Angeles.
The Palace, which opened in 1911, has an interesting history and has hosted many stars over the years. When it’s seen on “Scandal”, producers and editors use their digital magic to remove the Palace sign and adjust the building’s appearance so it looks less like a theater in downtown L.A. and more like an office building in Washington, DC.
