“Web Soup” tapings and meeting Chris Hardwick

WHAT Taping of the show “Web Soup”, hosted by Chris Hardwick
WHERE Los Angeles, CA
WHEN April 27, 2010 / May 25, 2010

I was on Twitter one day and someone that I followed retweeted a notice about a taping of “Web Soup” that was open to audience members. I contacted the appropriate people and – voila – I had a reservation to attend. The taping was in a building on Wilshire that houses offices and studios for the E! Network. In fact, “Web Soup” tapes in the same space as “The Soup” (hosted by one of my faves, Joel McHale).

I was excited to meet Chris Hardwick as well, since I used to have a crush on him when he hosted “Singled Out” on MTV (throwback!) and I also follow his Nerdist stuff.

He was really nice! He even interacted with me in the audience in between takes. He gave us Nerdist stickers on our way out. And the taping was so fun, I went back for another one the other day. This time, one of my comments was used on the show, which was awesome. Another fun taping; I hope I get to come back for more!
